The Cure to Gigant Microphones!
Shotgun and Lavalier Microphone two in one. 1/3 the size of standard camera shotgun mic, great audio.
Shotgun and Lavalier Microphone two in one. 1/3 the size of standard camera shotgun mic, great audio.
Great audio is a must when it comes to video making.
However, the microphones inside most cameras and smartphones are omnidirectional microphones, which means they pick up audio from all directions including distracting surrounding noise. There are two main options to solve this issue, one, an on-camera directional shotgun microphone, however, they are typically large in size and have messy cables. The other option is a lavalier/lapel microphone that clips on the shirt of the shooter to get consistent audio.
The IDOLCAM VlogStar V2 Microphone is 1/3 the size of most on-camera shotgun microphones and produces very clean audio to help your videos shine. Plus, the VlogStar microphone can be used as a lavalier microphone, so you get two microphone solutions with just one tiny device.

The VlogStar is a mini microphone created out of necessity. Every video shotgun microphone in the market when installed with a windproof jacket is typically larger than most compact cameras including IDOLCAM. Plus they have messy dangling cables between the cameras. Since our goal is to create a simple and compact vlogging setup, we rolled up our sleeves to design our very own camera shotgun microphone.
Our Vlogstar V1 has already achieved similar audio quality to major brand shotgun microphones that are 3-4 times the size. Now with the VlogStar v2, we have further improved the audio clarity, added internal shock dampening and included a TRRS adapter to allow for use with smartphones, tablets and computers. Furthermore, VlogStar may be the first shotgun microphone in the market that can transform into a lavalier, lapel microphone for more consistent audio quality.
Vlogstar is a directional microphone that rejects distracting surrounding sounds for clear audio even in crowded and noisy locations, a must have microphone for your vlogs and videos. The VlogStar is made of aircraft grade aluminum by precision CNC machines. Great RF rejection, modern craftsmanship with vintage microphone inspired design. VlogStar is a microphone truly designed for vlogging and video making.
